We started dating in February of 2015, right around Valentine's day! We talked for a couple weeks and then decided to go on our first date at Luther Burbank Park and then dinner at Cheesecake Factory. From there we've hit it off and been happy since. Joe had commuted for a bit at the start of our relationship. He lived in Olympia at the time, so weekends were the best things to look forward to at the end of our work week. Walking along Capitol Lake, visiting Point Defiance and Woodland Park Zoo, going to the movies, and finding good places to eat were a few of our favorite things to do. Joe eventually moved to Kent and we have been through many ups and downs in our relationship. We have learned so much about each other over the last few years that we can't believe how far we've come. Long story short, we got engaged on June 06, 2017! Joe proposed to me at Lake Meridian in Kent and planned a picnic for me at the park. We've been looking forward to this special day once we finally set the date in June of 2018, and now it's right around the corner!
