Salt Lake City International Airport

SLC International Airport is definitely the easiest one to fly in and a good place to pick up a rental car. The airport is 2 hours away from the wedding venue in Logan Canyon and 16 minutes away from Downtown SLC if you decide to come to Utah a couple days earlier.

Garden City is the closest town located 15' away from the wedding venue and on the shores of Bear Lake, a natural freshwater lake on the Idaho-Utah border known as “The Caribbean of the Rockies” due to its turquoise-blue water. This is a perfect town to book a beautiful Airbnb or Vrbo!

This hotel is located at the shore of Bear Lake, 20' away from the wedding venue. You can stay in one of their two on-site hotels, with locations on the beach or in the heart of the resort. You'll also find plenty of scenic beauty and great attractions in this popular vacation area. Rent a boat for the day, paddle board on the serene lake, enjoy some friendly competition over a basketball or pickleball game, or head out to town for some local dining and shopping.

Red Banks Campground is only 8' from the wedding venue. It is a small, 12 single-site campground right on the banks of the Logan River. Each campsite offers a picnic table and a fire ring. Vault restrooms are available. Recreation opportunities are available nearby. Firewood is available for purchase from the host at Lewis M. Turner Campground. Campground is first come, first served.

This campground is 11' away from the wedding. It has 9 single campsites, each site offers a picnic table and fire ring. The campground is set back off the highway in the aspens. Tony Grove Campground

This campground is 26' from the wedding. It sits on a hill, overlooking the lake, about 1/4 mile away. At 8,100 feet elevation, this campground generally has a short season. This campground has 34 sites each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault restroom facilities are available. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. White Pines day-use area is nestled up by this small mountain lake. It is not uncommon to see a moose swimming or grazing on underwater plants in the lake. Hiking trails lead to the Mount Naomi Wilderness Area, including the White Pine Lake Trail, and a self-guided nature trail circles the lake. Campers and picnickers enjoy canoeing and fishing from the shore. Key planning tip: Reserve your site early; especially for holidays and weekends. Make sure to reserve your spot!
