Bahías de Huatulco International Airport (airport code HUX) is an international airport located at Huatulco, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The airport handles national and international air traffic for the southern and southeastern Pacific coast of Oaxaca state. The airport is about 25-35 minutes from the city center.

Taxis

It is important to note that Lyft and Uber aren’t used in Huatulco. It is very easy to catch a cab, as there are a lot of taxis available at the airport and throughout the city. All taxis are cash only. It may be helpful to take out cash at an ATM at the airport or exchange money. All taxi rides within the city fall between $3-$6 USD & it is fast to get from one place to another. Taxi rides to and from the airport start at 500 Mexican pesos/ $25USD.
