Our RSVP deadline has now passed. If you had issues at all or received your invitation late (damn those Canada Post strikes!) please email or text one of us.
Yes! Our event is exclusively formal. The venue in Calgary is a historic and formal location, and has been known to enforce the dress code by refusing entry. Denim, runners, and casual clothing won't be able to make it past the foyer - and yes, we've asked them to enforce no cowboy regalia be allowed to our event as well. All colour attire is welcome, as there is no designated theme for the groom/parties' wardrobes. If you have questions or would like a check on your outfit, please feel free to ask either groom.
Unfortunately, we have a very limited number of rooms as well as seats in the dining hall. If your RSVP does not mention a +1, we hope you understand the reasoning behind our limitations. If we have made an error, please let us know and we are happy to investigate further!
We highly recommend finding a sitter if at all possible! We love kiddos, though this will be an adult event with very little to do for children, and the Ranchmen's Club has a strict policy on misbehaviour and isn't known to arrange activities for children.
We highly recommend looking into hotels in the area, such as Le Germaine, Hotel Arts, the Fairmont Palliser, and others in the downtown core. We can recommend more if you are looking for a specific room type, budget, or attractions nearby - though you can't go wrong!
There is limited parking underground, though plenty of street parking and other lots are available around the venue. We recommend giving it a drive-by if you are able to... or better yet, take an Uber or cab so you can get home without issue. Drinking and driving is *never* an option.
We will have a spread of delicious hors d'oeuvres, though if you have any special limitations, we would love to know ahead of time. We can pass along the information to our venue so that they are aware.
