I did not RSVP or did not provide a response , can I still attend the wedding ?

Answer

If you did not RSVP (including no response) , we kindly ask that you do not show up to attend the wedding. Our event is RSVP only and we will not be able accommodate non RSVP’s due to venue restrictions we must adhere to .

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

“Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

" Unfortunately.... No ( besides those playing a role in our ceremony) . While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event due to venue space restrictions . We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.”

What time should I arrive for the Wedding?

Answer

“Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the 4pm ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.”

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

"We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! “The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat" Please refrain from wearing white or ivory

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

"The ceremony will be taking place on the Magnolia Lawn outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors."

"You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly or email us mandkmccrae2024@gmail.com

Can I take pictures during the CEREMONY to post on social media?

Answer

"We kindly request that our ceremony remains unplugged. We want our guests to be fully present and enjoy the special moment with us and also allow our photographer to capture great shots free of distractions. Please refrain from using electronic devices during the ceremony. Let's cherish these moments together, free from distractions."

Can I take pictures AFTER THE CEREMONY to post on social media?

Answer

"We would love for you to capture and share joyous moments on social media! During the ceremony we kindly ask for "unplugged" atmosphere allowing our professional photographers to beautifully capture the moment. However, feel free to take and share photos during the remainder of our wedding. Don't forget to use our hashtag #ForeverAndMcCrae to share the love."

“ We will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by our signature cocktail."

Can I Bring My Own Adult Beverages?

Answer

"We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise."

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

“After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight into the House & Patio, where we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by our signature cocktail during a cocktail hour.”

Answer

Raleigh-Durham International Airport -RDU ( 2400 John, Brantley Boulevard, Morrisville, NC 27560 ). There is a roundtrip shuttle between the hotel and the airport.

"We have arranged roundtrip transportation between the host hotel Courtyard Marriot Cary-Parkside (1008 Parkside Main St, Cary, NC 27519) and the venue The Upchurch (7213 Roberts Road, Cary, NC 27519). Schedule can be found in your welcome bag and at the front desk."

"Yes there is minimal parking available. We have arranged roundtrip transportation for those staying at the host hotel Courtyard Marriott Cary-Parkside and the venue The Upchurch. Schedule can be found in your welcome bag and the front desk."

"The entire property is ADA compliant except for the 2nd floor of The Main House (where the dressing suites are housed). There is a wheelchair accessible ramp leading into the first floor of The Main House, ADA compliant restrooms and multiple, paved, accessible parking spaces."

"Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home . A wedding card box will be at our reception."

“Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, spas and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.”
