Falling Creek Falls
The falls are just a short drive from Interstate 10. Though they’re only about 10 feet tall, the deep amber waters cascading over the limestone terrace are particularly scenic, and a favorite photo-op for people just passing through. There’s a parking area just off the road, and a boardwalk runs from the lot to the falls, so it’s possible to get close without getting muddy and wet.
Lake DeSoto Farmers Market
This is a great farmers market that is open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. We, along with Brycen's parents, once bought freeze-dried candy which was surprisingly fantastic!
Marion Street Bistro & BrewHouse
This is a cute restaurant located in downtown Lake City, which is very close to our venue!
Halpatter Brewing Company
A Brewery located right across from the Blanche with live music performed every Friday night. Even for those who do not drink, the outside patio is very family-friendly.
Bullseyes Lake City
This is an axe-throwing business also located in downtown Lake City. It is a fun time to spend with friends + family, just remember to wear closed-toe shoes!
