Question

Is there a minimum stay required at Basin Harbor?

Answer

Yes, Basin Harbor requires a minimum stay of 2 nights, both on or off the block. This is a new policy in 2024, apologies for any inconveniences.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus one information will be included on your invitation. If you have a significant other who we have left off, please reach out! We would love to meet them.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to size constraints we are having an 18+ wedding.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our suggestion for Friday night would be dressy casual attire: sundresses or spring separates, khaki pants, button downs, polos, sports coats optional. Our suggestion for Saturday night would be formal wear: full suits and fancy dresses or jumpsuits. Basin Harbor has dirt roads throughout the property and the ceremony will be on grass. We recommend dress shoes, wedges, block heels or flats for the weekend. Expect temperatures to be in the low 50s at night.

Question

Are there any ADA-friendly lodging options?

Answer

If you need ADA-friendly accommodation please reach out to the bride and groom ASAP. Some of the cottages are ADA compliant and located immediately next door to the reception venue. We will put you in touch with our venue contact to ensure your needs are met. The Main Lodge is not ADA compliant as there is no elevator in the historic property. Golf carts are available for weekend-long rentals to move about the property. The bride and groom will have 2-3 carts available to help grandparents and other guests as needed.
