The Hampton Inn is the largest hotel in Smithfield and has rooms blocked off for our guests. If you are unable to find accomodation there, recommend you try Smithfield Station or Smithfield Inn as they are also downtown. The other hotels listed below, please note that they are 30 minutes from the venue.

Travel Note

Flying into Norfolk Airport (ORF)

For those flying into Norfolk-Virginia Beach Airport (ORF) and renting a car, recommend avoiding the I-264 tunnel (and obnoxious fees); instead follow I-64 East all the way around* continuing onto I-664 North, then exit to US-17 North (Bridge Rd). From there, your GPS will take you to and around Smithfield. When returning to the airport from Smithfield, take US-17 South to I-664 South then Exit 15B onto I-64 (towards Chesapeake/Virginia Beach) and continue all the way to Exit 297B for the airport. *Ignore your true heading while on I-64 "East" as you are actually traveling south, west and north (welcome to Tidewater, where road names are made up and the compass points don't matter). Same concept applies returning to the airport but reversed.

The Big Day - Getting Our Celebration

For directions to the venue, please use 301 Jericho Rd. Smithfield, VA 23420 or "Manor House at Windsor Castle Park" (searching Windsor Castle Park only or using 705 Cedar takes you to the kayak launch). Parking is in the field to the left of the picket fence surrounding the Manor House. If using the back entrance to Windsor Castle Park (from S Church Street), note that Jericho Rd is not well-signed and easily mistaken for a driveway. Look for the green house with the spire and turn next to it. When leaving the park via Jericho Rd be aware the exit onto S Church Street is left turn only, due to the bridge closure.

For all the days along the way
