Wedding Ceremony & Reception

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Formal or Semi-Formal attire encouraged, but not required. Spring colors and materials welcome!

Doors open to guests at 5:40 for a prompt 6:00pm ceremony start time. Friday Atlanta traffic can be a challenge so please plan accordingly. Parking is limited on site. Please plan to uber/taxi unless "cleared" to park by Bride and Groom. Ceremony outside in sunshine unless weather otherwise prohibits. April weather should not be too hot, but plan to wear sun protection if needed (for skin or eyes). While we cherish all our family and friends children, the wedding ceremony and reception will be reserved to adults and children 10 and above. This is partially due to space limitations, and also wanting the opportunity for our young parent friends to have a night off to celebrate. If this causes concern (particularly for infants <6 months of age), please feel free to reach out to Laura and Brian directly to discuss a solution.

All children and babies are welcome! Event is in a pavilion close to the entrance for the Zoo. Follow signs for zoo, public bathrooms, or pavilions and look for balloons and other friends! Also consult the map, linked on the "travel" page for a specifically dropped pin. If you still have difficulties, please feel free to call Brian or Laura, who can send a search party. Parking: If you are driving you can optionally park in the parking deck for a small fee (address provided), or park for free on one of the many side streets surrounding the park. Food & Drink: Light bites, snacks, and refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring other things to eat or drink if preferred. Open containers are prohibited by City of Atlanta, so if consuming alcohol please plan on using coozies or solo cups. Seating: Picnic tables and chares are available, but if you are local or driving in, consider bringing lawn chairs to assist with additional seating.
