This is one of Makenzie and Aidan's favorite shopping spots in Asheville. Kress Emporium is a center which displays and sells artwork and crafts from local artists in the area!
Double D's Coffee and Desserts
This is an iconic coffee spot located right in downtown Asheville. It is hard to miss as the shop is operated out of a vintage double decker bus!
White Labs Brewing Co.
This is a great gluten free food option that specializes in GF pizza and beer!
Wicked Weed Brewing
This is a great spot to grab a drink! It has a wonderful outdoor space and a great atmosphere.
Capella on 9
This is a fun dinner and drinks spot in downtown Asheville located on the roof of the AC hotel. It is an open air rooftop with a wonderful view of the city surrounded by the mountains!
Lookout Mountain Trail
This hike is located about 20 minutes outside of Asheville on Black Mountain. It is a shorter hike, however there is a steep elevation and a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the top! This is one of Makenzie and Aidan's favorite hikes close to Asheville.
Catawba Falls
This is a 2.7 mile round trip hike which brings you to the gorgeous Catawba Falls waterfall. This is a great day hike if you have some free time!
