When should we RSVP by? And where?
Answer
We ask that you RSVP by May 1st! We are asking everyone to RSVP at the top of this website under the "RSVP" tab, no mailing a card required.

Is there a reception? Where is it?
Answer
We are so excited to have our reception at South Maui Gardens in Kihei! Address details are under the "schedule" tab.

Is the venue inside or outside? What's the deal?
Answer
We have the privilege of getting married in the same church Makena's parents did almost 30 years ago - the Keawala'i Congregational Church located in Makena, Maui. A parking lot is located at the church site and there will also be street parking.

What should I wear?
Answer
This is Maui during the summer, it will be hot, so please plan accordingly! We do ask that guests dress up and look their best! We'd love to see colors and flowers, but overall we aren't picky.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If you have a plus one, that will be shown on your invitation and when you type in your name to RSVP. Please feel free to reach out with questions - thanks!

Are the kiddos invited?
Answer
Similar to plus ones - children will be specifically listed on the invitation & RSVP. If the invitation is addressed to "The *blank* Family," please know that includes everyone in the immediate family. Again - reach out with questions!

What part of the island should we look to stay at?
Answer
Makena is located on the west side of Maui, so ideally somewhere close! Kihei and Wailea are popular areas within 20 minutes drive of the venue. Please just take into account driving time if you are looking at staying somewhere else on the island!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
If you're able to and would like to honor us with a gift, we are registered here on Zola, and all you need to do is purchase a gift or donate funds, and the rest is handled by Zola. No shipping or extras required for guests. Thank you so much!

What time is the ceremony, and how early should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will be at 4:30pm, and we kindly ask you all to arrive and be seated 15 minutes before that time. Thanks!

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
Since we will have a professional photographer, we kindly ask you to leave the photos and videos to them and put the phones down! We are having an "unplugged" ceremony so they can get as much uninterrupted content as possible. Once we receive photos, we will post those for the public to see, thank you for understanding! During the reception though - snap away!
