Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Gentlemen feel free to take off suit jackets or sport coats after the ceremony.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be located outside unless there is unforeseen weather. Please be prepared for warm temperatures.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are located at the same venue. The address for the Venue is Historic Jasmine Plantation 4500 N Courthouse Rd Providence Forge, Va 23140

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the bar and garden area for a cocktail hour. Food and beverages will be served.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue. There will be lot attendants to direct guests in parking accordingly to ensure that everyone can fit.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We do not mind sharing our day with your little ones, just please make sure to let us know in advance and make note of it on your RSVP card, so that we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have hotel blocks, but there are nearby hotels listed under the travel tab of our website.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is March 31, 2022. Please ensure that you have responded on our wedding website or by returning our RSVP cards by mail. These will be the only valid methods of RSVP. Any other method will not be accounted for.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing dinner and an open bar for our cocktail hour and reception until an hour before the end of the evening. We have an amazing caterer who will provide buffet-style dining.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/ special diet options?

Answer

We have a fantastic caterer who is willing to accommodate us and our guests. If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Instead of asking for typical registry items we are asking that our guests rather contribute to our honeymoon fund. However, for the purposes of the Bridal Shower Makena is registered at Amazon and Pottery Barn.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will not have any transportation provided for guests.

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please ask the Mother of the Bride or the Maid of Honor before taking any decorations home as a souvenir.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only requests are that you do not take any photos during the ceremony (we want to keep it as magical as possible), and that when you do post photos you use the hashtag #takingtrinh so that we can keep track of all of your pictures!
