If you're looking for an easy hike/walk, this is one of our favorites! It is filled with beautiful views and if you're a little more adventurous, plenty of rocks to climb (easy and hard)! Plus, wonderful picture opportunities!
This was rated the second best zoo in North America for 2025 and I can confirm it is awesome! The zoo is located on the side of Cheyenne mountain so be prepared for some incline. There are some amazing animal encounters and a pretty view of the city! Perfect for all ages! Bring some cash and you can even feed a giraffe! There's fun before you get to the zoo as well! On the way, you can pass by the Broadmoor Hotel, a beautiful area rich with Colorado History.
If you're looking for something indoors to do, the Olympic Museum is a unique experience! Tickets are $30 for adults (13+) and children under 4 are free! They also offer discounts for military and first responders. There is also the training museum, but they do require reservations.
Red Rocks Open Space is a really fun hiking spot! It is pretty easy with flat areas and cool views! Bring your water and your walking shoes!
