If your looking for some great food over the weekend check out Flagstaff General Store (owned by Makayla's cousin). They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! You may also find some fun souvenirs.
This is where Carson proposed to Makayla. Quill Hill can be accessed on Route 16 heading East toward Rangeley. It is about a 12 minute drive to the top where you will find an amazing 360 degree view. On a clear day you can see all the way to Canada!
One of the best places to access and enjoy Flagstaff Lake is from Cathedral Pines' public beach. July will be warm, and if you plan on bringing the kids this would be a fun place to take them swimming! Kayaks and Canoes can be rented down the road at Pine's Market.
Fotter's Market is our small town grocery and hardware store. If you forgot to pack something, this will be the best place to go!
Take a drive on a dirt road and check out the bison farm! If The Hutch is open you may get to score some of the best baked goods in town or some fun souvenirs for the family. You can even pre-order on their website! We highly recommend their sourdough bread!
Rangeley is about 30 minutes from our wedding location, but if you plan on staying for the weekend it is worth the drive. Be on the look out for moose as you travel route 16! Rangeley Lake is a beautiful place to go swimming or enjoy the water. In town you will find small local shops and restaurants.
