Heck yes we do!

Makenzie and Samuel met as all modern day couples meet - on the internet! Except it wasn't by swiping right. It was through the University of Nevada, Reno's new students app. Makenzie was moving into The Republic Apartments and wanted to meet some of her new neighbors. Sam responded to the post and they began texting. Four months later the two met in person for the first time when Sam offered Makenzie a tapestry he bought in Nevada City. After their first unofficial date at The Wal (classy - we know) Makenzie took Sam to Scooper's for their official first date where they drank milkshakes and ate burgers. It must have been an amazing date because six months later they moved in together. Throughout their five years as a couple they have moved three times, adopted two shelter cats (Hi Ollie and Poe!), and have had one amazing life together. In Summer of 2022 Sam met Makenzie in Europe (where she was finishing her degree in Prague) and proposed to her on the shores of Sorrento, Italy after a delicious bowl of pasta and risotto and a large glass of red wine.
