Our wedding weekend is peak autumn leaf season for the Appalachian area. The Blue ridge parkway is famous for its beautiful views, especially during this time.
Carter Mountain Orchard and Country Store
One of the bride's mothers favorite spots in Virginia. A lovely apple orchard that will be in full harvest season. Delicious apple treats, pies, and wine selections available. Apple picking, hiking, and mountain scenery are key activities on top of the mountain. On one side of the mountain, you can see the town of Charlottesville.
Charlottesville
The town of Charlottesville that has cobblestone streets in the downtown area, local shopping, small business highlights, and amazing mountain nightlife. Plenty of local shows and music, and only one hour away from Lynchburg. Home of the University of Virginia.
