We met in 2023 while working together, though it turns out our lives had crossed paths many times before. We grew up near each other, had our first jobs at the same place — Nat Bailey Stadium — and shared more small coincidences than we ever realized. Our first real meeting was during Maitry’s final nursing placement at the hospital where Tony worked as a clinical pharmacist. Their introduction was brief (and involved a nervous question about beta blockers), but it left a lasting impression. Maitry decided to take a chance — proof that sometimes you really should go after what you want. What began as a workplace friendship slowly grew into something much deeper. Over the past three years, we’ve built a relationship based on kindness, laughter, and constant support. Tony brings calm and stability to Maitry’s life, while Maitry brings joy, color, and adventure to Tony’s. On June 29, 2025, surrounded by the beauty of Banff and the Canadian Rockies, Tony proposed. We are so excited to begin this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
