We have had very different lives and have very different personalities. However, no time goes by that will waver my trust and respect for this man. My brother is incredibly hard working, witty and has a whimsical sense of humor. Front row to see our favorite band, roommates as kids and adults, too many memories. Mi mejor amiga. Lleva en mi vida desde que tengo uso de razón, mismo colegio y misma clase desde los 3 hasta los 18 años. Muchas de mis primeras veces han sido con ella, primera pelea, primera pijamada, primer campamento, primer botellón, mi primera amiga de verdad. Tiene la habilidad de contactarme en el preciso momento en que más le necesito y viceversa. Aún seguimos cantando La Oreja de Van Gogh a todo pulmón en su coche. We've been together since I can remember. My best friend. Same school and class form 3 to 18 years old. We've shared a lot of firsts- first fight, first sleepover, first summer camp, first drink, first real friend. We share the cosmic power of knowing when the other is in need. Singing together at the top of our lungs in her car is one of my favorite things.

Miguel is more than just blood. We have traveled to 35+ countries together. Maite says I talk to him more on the phone than I do her. She's probably right. Some highlights: Mona Lisa, Stonehenge, Thailand beaches, Oktoberfest, Pablo Escobar's hometown, Santorini. Too many memories and not enough words. My most cherished memory is when he took the fall for me with a bad empanada. Make sure you ask him about this. He speaks Spanish Mike es más que sangre. Hemos viajado a más de 35 países juntos. Una de mis sorpresas favoritas. Nos conocimos en la Universidad, vivimos juntas los cuatro años en San Sebastián y luego compartimos Madrid. Vivimos juntas una de las etapas más bonitas de la vida. Tiene una risa diabólica y un abrazo que te deja sin respiración. Su chulería es bilbaína y su descaro malageño. No hay nadie como ella. Imprescindible en mi vida. One of my favorite surprises. We met in college, lived together for four years in San Sebastian, and then made our way to Madrid. We've shared one of the most beautiful phases in life. She has a devilish laugh and her hugs can literally take your breath away. Her cockiness is from Bilbao, but her boldness is from Málaga. She is something else. She is essential in my life.

One of the original power three! This guy is truly the life of the party. Some may call him number one. He is always in high spirits, loyal, hilarious and down for a good time. He is the only guy who could get me to a country concert (and have a good time at that). College parties, cruise adventures, A's tailgates to Vegas baby, Vegas... there is nobody better to have as company with a cold brew. Un integrante de 'los tres originales'! Este hombre es el alma de la fiesta. Algunos dirán que es el numero uno. Siempre esta de buen humor, leal, muy gracioso y se apunta a todo. Es el único tío que podría convencerme para ir a un concierto de country. Fiestas en universidad, aventuras en cruceros, tailgates de los A's, y Vegas baby! No hay mejor compañía que él para echarse unas cervezas.

No le gustó nada cuando llegamos a la ESO y mezclaron nuestras clases, luego vimos que fue de lo mejor que el colegio ha hecho por nosotras. Hemos llorado juntas, nos hemos reído como nadie y hemos compartido muchas primeras experiencias. Es una rebelde con causa y solía tener el pelo rojo. Probablemente una de las personas de las que más aprendo. Una artista con magia en las manos y un universo entero en su cabeza. She didn't like it when they mixed our school classes, but we are so glad they did. We've cried together, we laugh more than anyone and we've shared many first experiences. She is a rebel with a cause, and rocked red hair better than anyone. She is probably the person I learn the most from. She is an artist with magic in her hands and a whole universe in her head.

Simply put, this primo is a great man. Loyal to the bone, incredibly articulate and to the ones who know him best- really quirky. He is undeniably unusual (in the best of ways). A guy who will always have a smile on his face. Nobody more fun to talk sports with. Adventures at the hut, south beach (and the real south beach), Southeast Asia (his favorite adventure), college ragers, and his kidnapping in San Juan... Excited for all the adventures to come. Buen primo y mejor persona. Leal, muy inteligente y bastante peculiar (en una buena manera). Siempre con una enorme sonrisa en la cara. No hay nadie como él para hablar sobre deportes. Hazañas en bares, Sudeste Asiático (su aventura favorita), fiestas en la universidad y su secuestro en San Juan. Aún nos quedan muchas aventuras por venir.

No matter who you are, if you arm wrestle with her she will win. I never met a stronger person. Coffee addict. She loves shots and her veggies charred. She is mother of three beautiful flowers that make me melt any time they call me "Tia Maite". She is always ready for a crazy good time!

We've known each other since the day I was born. His pops literally put his 3 week year old little man body up to the delivery room window to meet his greatest foe and best friend. We had battles when we were little- probably because he always wanted to hang with my older sister. Camping, high school baseball, double dates, LBSU, poker, late night tub sessions. The list is endless and it makes me happy knowing it will keep growing. Nos conocemos desde el mismo día que nací. Su padre le puso en la ventana del hospital para que conociese a su gran rival y mejor amigo. Discutíamos bastante cuando era pequeños, puede ser porque siempre quería estar con mi hermana. Días de camping, Béisbol, citas con chicas, poker, universidad, noches en el jacuzzi.. Y sé que nuestra amistad seguirá creciendo.

Mi otra cuñada! Sangre latina, menos mal que está en la familia porque con tanto Spillner yo me podía volver loca! Es como un lagarto bajo el sol y una super chef en la cocina, no se le resiste nada! Lee libros y escucha podcast de crimen para relajarse y nunca se le escapa nada. Ella siempre lo hace todo más divertido y además tiene un corazón que no le cabe! Mi cuñada! Latin blood, thank god she is in the family beacuse I don't know I could survive so much Spillner without her. She can go hours under the sun, and she is a great chef- like really, really good. Her favorite book and podcast genre is crime. She is so smart, you can't get anything by her. She makes everything more fun and has the biggest heart.

The first words I heard out of his mouth was he liked taking long walks on the beach. I was 14 and wasn't too sure. From high school basketball to college roommates. Trips to Disneyland with our annual passes to starting a band together. Supporting his wife to win the showcase on the Price is Right to wakeboarding at Clearlake. So many memories together and so many more to come! Las primeras palabras que oí decir a James fue que le gustaba dar largos paseos por la playa. Tenia 14 años y no me convencía del todo. Hemos pasado por jugar baloncesto en el mismo equipo, ser compañeros de piso en universidad, visitas a Disneyland, formar nuestro grupo de música, ayudar a su mujer a ganar el premio en un programa en la tele, wakeboard en Clearlake. No dejes que su apariencia te engañe, es pequeña pero peleona!! Tiene estilazo y anda más rápido que el correcaminos. Siempre que sale de una habitación deja el rastro de su perfume y su risa es una de mis cosas favoritas en la vida. Ella es como un milagro, la persona que mas admiro y el amor mas incondicional e incombustible que conozco. En sus brazos todo está bien. Don't let her looks fool you. She is little, but feisty! She has some serious style and walks faster than a roadrunner. Every time she leaves a room her amazing perfume lingers in the air. The way she laughs is one of my favorite things in life. She is a miracle- the person I admire the most, and the most unconditional love I know. Everything is perfect when in her arms.

She is the sweetest and most thoughtful woman I have ever known. Most people tend to mistake sweetness and kindness for weakness. On the contrary, my mother is an incredibly strong woman. She has battled and beaten cancer twice, has raised 3 wonderful and abled children (not to mention her students and grandchildren) and has made so many positive changes in her life- my love for her is unconditional. Ella es la mujer más cariñosa y atenta que conozco. La mayoría de personas confunden amabilidad y dulzura con debilidad, mi madre es increíblemente fuerte. Ya le ha ganado, dos veces, la batalla al cáncer, ha educado a 3 niños increíbles (sin contar con sus nietas y todos sus alumnos) y ha tenido la fuerza de dar muchos cambios positivos en su vida... Mi amor por ella es incondicional.

Nadie se lo puede imaginar cabreado (ejem), tiene pinta de buenico pero se las trae. Siempre se levanta a las 6.30 de la mañana para hacer zumo de naranja recién exprimido para mi madre y nadie barre la casa como él. Tiene un gran gusto musical y aun que nunca nos dejaba dormir hasta tarde, nos despertaba con alguna canción de Melendi, Fito o Sabina. Siempre me llama pepinillo pequeño y le quiero toneladas. Everybody says they cannot imagine him angry (I'm rolling my eyes hard)- he looks nice but tread carefully. He always wakes up at 6.30 to make fresh orange juice for my mom, and he has mastered the art of sweeping the house. He never let us sleep in, but he used to wake us up with the best classic songs. He calls me "pepinillo" (little pickle) and I love him tons.
