Question

What on earth is the Juevintxo?/ ¿Qué es el Juevintxo?

Answer

On Thursday's in Pamplona, "pintxos" and drinks cost 2 euros. ''Pintxos" are appetizers similar to tapas, although they are more typically served on top of bread. The drink included in the 2€ deal is wine or a very "pequeña" cerveza. The location of this event is on two streets in the old town of Pamplona (Estafeta and San Nicolas). It's been around for about 10 years now and we love our Juevintxo!! The streets are packed with people, and the atmosphere is muy bien!

Question

Is there shuttle service? / ¿Habrá servicio de autobuses?

Answer

There will be buses taking you from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception to Pamplona downtown once the party is over. How to get to the wedding ceremony from your hotel or airbnb is on you. For more info about this check out our Travel page.

Question

Are kids welcome? / ¿Puedo llevar a mis hijas/os?

Answer

We would love our wedding to be your night off, but we understand. So YES, kids are more than welcome. Unfortunately, there won't be a babysitting service.

Question

Can I bring a date?/ ¿Puedo traer acompañante?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is there a dress code? / ¿Hay una etiqueta especial?

Answer

Tuxes, gowns suits and cocktail dresses. Obviously nothing white, let the bride shine! Pamplona can get a little chilly at night. The tents have air-conditioning and heat (depending on the weather), but we recommend bringing a shawl or light jacket just in case. For your shoes keep in mind- to get to the church you'll be walking on cobblestone streets. The tents have flooring, but outside will be grass and gravel.

Question

What can we expect at the wedding?/ ¿Qué me puedo esperar de esta boda?

Answer

It will be a Spanglish wedding. Spanish and American traditions will be sprinkled throughout. Come in with an open mind and your party hat and you'll have a blast!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?/ ¿Hay algún evento cercano a la boda?

Answer

SAN FERMIN!!! - or as you would know it 'the Running of the Bulls'. The last two years San Fermin was canceled because of the pandemic, but we hope this year we will be able to celebrate it!!! Beginning on July 6th and ending on July 14th, the best festival WORLDWIDE takes place on the streets of Pamplona 24 hours a day! For more information check out our Things to Do section.

Question

What are some important things I should know before traveling to Europe?

Answer

In Spain we have different outlets!! So don't forget to buy adaptors for your devices. Exchange some cash and bring some euros with you- we don't always accept card payments. We greet with two kisses and sometimes even hugs. We talk loud, close, and like contact. It's not that you're THAT attractive, it's just in our latin nature! Words to learn: por favor (please), perdón (sorry), gracias (thank you), hola (hello), encantado/a (nice to meet you) and una cerveza por favor (one beer please).

Question

Are there any requirements to enter Spain?

Answer

At the moment you can enter the country with your vaccination card, negative test (NAAT test carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain, or RAT test carried out within 48 hours prior to arrival in Spain.) Children under 12 years of age are not required to present these certificates or supporting documents. We are keeping a close eye on this, and we will update this page with any changes from the Spanish government.
