Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a couple different hotels listed in the travel section, and if you're wondering which to chose from then hopefully we can steer you in the right direction! The Prairie Hotel in Yelm is the closest option to the venue, about 15 minutes away, so if you're looking for the least hassle on wedding day this will be your best bet. Also, for those making the drive from the Portland area this hotel is South of the venue so it'll be on your way! For anyone who is flying in, the Hotel Murano is a great option. It is a 30 min drive from the venue and 25 min drive from the airport. Tacoma is a fun city with some great restaurants and bars to explore, so if you're coming in Friday and spending a night in the city this is your best option.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We are super excited to celebrate with everyone and want everyone to have a great evening! With that in mind, if your kids are old enough that they are no longer nursing we ask that you get a babysitter and come enjoy the night with no responsibilities. That being said we know that there will be a couple of young babies in attendance. We plan to set up the grooms suite as a place for moms to nurse and put their babies down for the evening. It is a code locked door, and we will set it up with a baby monitor and pack n plays so that you have a safe and quiet place for your little ones.

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

If your plus one is not explicitly called out on the invite envelope then unfortunately you do not get a plus one. Please keep in mind that we are expecting a certain number of guests based on RSVPs and so if you are not explicitly given a plus one please do not bring a date. Also we have a seating chart! Please don't make it awkward.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal/black tie optional. For guys, no tuxes, but please wear a suit and a tie. For gals, you are more than welcome to wear a floor length dress or a cocktail dress.

There isn’t a ton on the registry, what should we gift?

Answer

We are moving into a fully furnished condo, so between that and what we already have between the two of us we already own a lot of basic household items. That being said, do not feel any pressure to get us a gift, but if you do want to give something we are more than happy with cash gifts and have included cash funds on the registry!
