What is the Wedding Dress Code?

Our preference is for guests to dress in formal/cocktail attire for our day! Please no jeans, shorts, sweatpants, etc.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?
Answer
We request that only invited guests attend our wedding celebration. If your formal invitation includes a plus-one, you are welcome to bring a guest to celebrate with us. If you did not receive a plus-one, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there a reserved block of rooms at a local hotel?

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Lakeview Hotel! You can make your reservation directly through the below URL or call at 866-695-5010. https://www.shantycreek.com/reservations/peterson-mccollum-wedding/ You are also welcome to book an Airbnb or Vrbo if you would like to stay with a larger party. Please see the 'Travel' tab for more information.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour followed by a sit-down buffet style dinner. Please let us know on your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions so we can better accommodate!

Yes! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at the same beautiful location, making it easy for you to celebrate with us throughout the day!
