We met in 2013, early into our freshman year at Albion College. It felt like "love at first sight" when we first crossed paths, and we've been together ever since. We were both on the College Track & Field team where we quickly bonded over our shared passion for the sport and learned the importance of supporting each other, both on and off the track. Following graduation, Brant accepted a job in West Michigan with Cintas and Maisey pursued her Masters degree at Michigan State University (Go Green!). Maisey finished her degree in 2020 and accepted a job with Bridgestone, which took her to Des Moines, Iowa. In light of the pandemic, Brant remained in Michigan. We put our relationship to the test by being long distance for 2 years, using nearly all of our vacation time to see each other. Needless to say we made it and distance truly did make us stronger. In 2022, Bridgestone relocated Maisey to Nashville, Tennessee and Brant was able to transfer with Cintas. We were so excited to finally truly start our lives together! In 2023 we bought our first home where we now live with our sweet Corgi (Fannie), horse (Sandor), and two wild kittens (Hopslam and Oberon - yes, they are named after our favorite Michigan beers)! Our engagement was a complete surprise to Maisey. Brant rented a cabin in the Smokey Mountains for us (and Fannie, of course). We spent the weekend hiking, making s'mores by the fire, playing board games, and building core memories. It was wholesome and perfect for us in every way. We chose to get married in Northern Michigan because of the special hold it has on our hearts. If this will be your first time Up North, we are confident you will also fall in love with the peaceful atmosphere, outdoor beauty, and renowned restaurants, wineries, and breweries. There truly is no place like Northern Michigan and we could not think of a better place to celebrate our relationship. We have so much love for one another and are extremely proud of the life we have built together. We are looking forward to committing ourselves to marriage surrounded by our favorite people!
