What do I wear?

Welcome Party: Dressy casual! Guys can don khakis, pants, or button-downs (no ties required) and girls can get a lil' dressed up with dresses, jumpsuits, or skirts. Think: cozy, cocktail party! Ceremony & Reception: Our wedding is a fall cocktail affair! Dress your best with suits and ties for the guys and fancy-fun long or stylish short dresses for the gals. We'll be outside (weather permitting!) for our ceremony and cocktail hour so recommend shoes that are good on grass and a warm shawl, jacket, or sweater or coat.

What's the weather like in the off-season? Are things still open over there?

Average temps are around 53 degrees as the high and 39 degrees as the low. Martha's Vineyard during the off-season is beautiful! Less tourists, easier to get around, and lots of options for shopping and dining, especially in Vineyard Haven & Edgartown which have more year-round residents.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Visit our travel page for more details, but we'll be providing a shuttle from Mansion House Inn on Main St. in Vineyard Haven for guests staying at the inn or around the Vineyard Haven area. The shuttle will depart at 2:15 PM. We encourage those attending the wedding to take the provided shuttle, or Uber/cabs if you're staying outside the room block. Returning, shuttles will be provided at 9:15 PM and 10:15 PM for anyone needing transportation back to Mansion House Inn / downtown Vineyard Haven. Cabs will also be available starting at 11pm for those staying later to continue the party!

Are there grocery stores and liquor stores?

Answer

Yes! There's a Stop and Shop grocery store right in Vineyard Haven and other markets and liquor stores throughout the island. Please note - We'll be serving only beer and wine at our reception due to West Tisbury liquor laws, so please plan accordingly :)

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Lambert's Cove Inn if you wish to drive. However, we'll be providing to/from transportation (from downtown VH) and cabs to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven at the end of the night so encourage everyone to be safe!
