Flight
Portugal has a few airports, but flying into Lisbon (LIS) will be your best bet! It's just 45 minutes from our venue (an easy Uber ride) and offers the most direct flights from the US. However, we would recommend spending at least a day in Lisbon to adjust to the time-zone and to soak up all this magical city has to offer! For flight affordability, we'd suggest finding the cheapest flight to any major city in Europe (maybe enjoy a day or two there?), and then booking a cheap puddle-jumper flight over to Lisbon. Most major cities in Europe fly direct into LIS.
Rental Car
Just a note, Uber and the app "Bolt" (slightly cheaper than Uber) are a reliable and affordable way to get around Portugal, day or night! Renting a car is another great choice; while driving in Lisbon’s city centre can be chaotic, the rest of the country is wonderfully drivable. If you’ll be spending a few days in Lisbon before joining us near the venue in Setúbal, we recommend waiting to rent a car until you’re ready to leave the city. Lisbon itself is very walkable, and its public transit system is easy to navigate. We used Europcar when leaving Lisbon, and they were great, so linking them here.
