Perkins Cove is a cute area with shops and restaurants. Check out Barnacle Billy's and Footbridge Lobster.
Marginal Way
Marginal Way is famous oceanfront walking path in Ogunquit with incredible views, really showing what beauty Maine has to offer! It's great for a stroll and taking in the coastline. The path is a paved walkway connecting from Ogunquit Beach to Perkins Cove. You can begin Marginal Way right at our hotel, Terrace by the Sea! It's located right on Marginal Way and has an entrance pathway connecting to the property where you can access the walkway!
Downtown Ogunquit
Downtown Ogunquit - quaint downtown area with many shops and restaurants! A short 5 minute (or less) walk from Terrace by the Sea.
Kennebunkport
Kennebunkport, ME - cute New England feel downtown area with shops and restaurants. About 15-20 minute drive north on Route 1 from Ogunquit.
Portland
If you’re spending time in Portland, be sure to explore the Old Port -- a lively, walkable waterfront neighborhood filled with boutique shops, restaurants, cafes. Portland is also a true foodie city, known for its incredible restautant scene, unique cocktail bars and amazing local breweries, making it a fun spot to eat, drink, explore, and soak up coastal New England charm before or after the wedding!
Cape Elizabeth / Fort Williams Park
Cape Elizabeth is a beautiful coastal area right next to Portland, known for its iconic lighthouses, ocean views, and scenic walking paths. Check out Fort Williams Park, home to the infamous Portland Head Light, historic fort remnants, walking paths, ocean views, and seasonal food trucks. It makes for a great spot to explore if you have a car or don’t mind a short Uber/Lyft or taxi ride to get there. It’s a peaceful spot to explore Maine’s coastline and makes for a great half-day excursion before or after the wedding!
York Beach
Long Sands Beach and Short Sands Beach in York, ME -- pretty beach views, shops and restaurants.
