We're getting married!

We met the first day of freshman year in English class. It wasn't until sophomore year though that we seemed to notice each other. The day of David's 16th birthday party Maillie told David she liked him and the world went into Covid lockdown. We talked for two months over text messages until finally we moved into the first stage of lockdown being lifted. We went on a date to Borden's and Girard park. After that we decided to make it official and have been together ever since.

We first started off with dinner at Deano's pizza, where we always eat with both of our families the night before David leaves to go back to West Point. After dinner, we went to Borden's, the place of our first date. David started by saying the last time I came here with your parents I think was our first date so it's only fitting they're here for this. He then got down on one knee and presented the ring with a resounding, "Ta da!" Maillie exclaimed "Yes! No! You have to ask me!" He finally asked "Will you marry me?" and Maillie told him yes. We're so excited to celebrate the start of our next chapter of life with you! We can't wait to see everyone on the wedding day!
