Flight
If you choose to fly to Milford, you have a few options. You can fly into Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT (BDL), CT; Weschester County Airport in White Plains, NY (HPN); or LaGuardia Airport in Queens, NY (LGA). All are about a 45-60 minute drive, depending on traffic.
Train
You're welcome to take the train to Connecticut. The options would be the Acela Train (station: New Haven, CT); the Northeaster Regional Train (stations: New Haven, CT or Bridgeport, CT). Both stations are a 20 min drive. You can also take the Metro-North Railroad (part of NY's MTA) to Milford, CT. The station is a 5-10 min drive.
