Shawna is Nicole’s older sister and built in friend for life. Shawna and Nicole have shared a lifetime of sisterly memories; vacations, concerts, quoting favourite movies and TV shows, making up dances. Shawna is so excited to see her donkey, her beautiful Lala, get married. Shawna is honoured to be the maid of honour in her little sister’s wedding and looking forward to officially having Mitch has a brother-in-law.

Mike Van Zeist

Best Man

Mike met Mitch in Kindergarten and they have been best friends ever since. In Grade 4, they had their first double date together. Since then, they have been there to support each other through relationships. Mike has always been an easy person to talk to, go to for advice, or have fun with. Mike and Mitch are often playing video games, going to concerts, or going on camping trips. Mike is honoured to be Mitch’s best man and stand beside him as he marries the love of his life, Nicole!

Emily Hayward

Bridesmaid

Emily and Nicole met in third grade through their older sisters, and thus the Sister Crew was born! When Emily and Nicole are together, they are usually at a concert, going to dinners (shoutout Kelsey's spin-dip), window shopping, or relaxing at the beach. Emily is absolutely honoured to play a small part in Nicole and Mitch’s day as Nicole’s bridesmaid, and is so excited to help them celebrate their love and future!

Connor Maher

Groomsman

Connor is Mitch's older brother and best friend. Connor has been a big inspiration and supporter to Mitch. Connor has helped Mitch get almost every job he’s had from the Attic (pizza shop) to building houses. They have also worked together a lot throughout their lives and neither of them are dead so they must be doing something right. Connor and Mitch enjoy golfing together, watching Sunday Football, and annoying their mom (in good fun). Connor is thrilled to be apart of this special day and watch Mitch enter this next stage of life. He is happy to have Nicole as a sister-in-law.

Sam Sanderson

Bridesmaid

Sam and Nicole met while they were in high school and initially bonded over topics such as Psychology and being the biggest procrastinators. They are often having “therapy” sessions, trying a new activity (the latest is pickle ball) or exploring new places. Sam is grateful to have found an open-minded, easy-going, kind friend like Nicole, and is excited to watch her enter this new phase of her life with her loving partner, Mitch. Sam looks forward to celebrating with you both on your special day and is wishing a lifetime filled with love, joy and happiness together!

Groomsman

Nick met Mitch through Mike and they quickly became close friends. Through the years, Nick and Mitch have played on various sports teams together including softball and hockey. When they aren’t playing sports, they can be found playing video games, partying, or at a cottage. Nick is honoured to be a groomsmen for Mitch and is so excited to see Mitch and Nicole get married!

Riley Robinson

Ring Bearer

Riley is Nicole’s first nephew. Since he was born in 2023, he has been Nicole’s favourite little man. Riley absolutely adores his Auntie Coco. He loves when she sings him songs, makes him crafts and sensory bins and gets big hugs. He is going to try his best to make it down the aisle with the rings! He looks forward to gaining a new uncle in Mitch.
