Please RSVP by Friday, August 15th, 2025.

Question

Answer

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please include the information in your RSVP or message Mitch and Nicole. We will work with the venue to meet the needs of all guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend the ceremony at Christ's Church Cathedral. However, the reception is adult only. If there are any challenges regarding child care, please message Mitch and Nicole directly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day with our family and friends. With venue number restrictions, only those formally invited on the wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be explicitly noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1pm. Please arrive by 10-15 minutes before to ensure everyone is seated by the start time. Please note there is a free parking lot at the back of the church (Hughson St. N). There is also a paid parking lot and street parking in the area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking guests to dress in formal or cocktail attire. Please wear what you feel comfortable in. Make sure to wear shoes you are comfortable dancing in because we want to see everyone partying on the dance floor!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the Hotels Nearby page for information regarding hotels. The Four Points Sheraton and Sandman are located close to the Grand Olympia. The Courtyard, Holiday Inn Express, or the TownePlace Suites on Upper James are located close to the Lubrick family home for those visiting from over seas.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at both the ceremony and reception locations. For the ceremony, there is a free limited parking lot at the back of Christ's Church Cathedral. There is also street parking and a paid municipal parking lot nearby. At Grand Olympia, there is a large parking lot at the back of the venue. The lot is locked from 1am-8am to ensure safety of vehicles. If you are drinking, we ask you use Uber, Hamilton Cabs, or carpool with a designated driver.

Question

When should I expect to eat? What is the menu?

Answer

We will have our cocktail hour at 5pm, where there will be passed hors d'oeuvres. A seated, plated dinner will begin by 6pm. Guests can expect a salad, chicken dish, roast beef, potatoes, and dessert. There will also be a late night buffet around 10pm.

Question

Where is the Ballroom located at The Grand Olympia?

Answer

We are having our reception in the Wentworth Ballroom. Enter the venue through the parking lot doors. Go up the staircase at the door. Enter the first ballroom (The Wentworth). Check the sign at the door to ensure you are entering Mitchell and Nicole Maher's Wedding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no transportation to and from hotels to the ceremony and reception. Hamilton Cab, Uber, public transportation, or driving/parking is recommended. Grand Olympia has a large parking lot that will be open until 1am. Then the gate is locked over night, can remaining cars may be picked up in the morning.
