FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mahek Wazirali and Ali Moosa
Question

What precautions are you taking for COVID 19?

Answer

- We are requiring ALL guests wanting to attend to get testing for COVID-19 done in advance. We will be hosting a testing facility in Dallas, TX on 10/27/2020 from 9 AM to 7 PM. Results will be emailed within 30 hours of the test. This will be a free test (insured and non-insured), but there will be a $25 fee for priority testing to make sure you receive results in time for the weekend - We have cut our guest list in half, leaving the events to only close family and bridal party - All our events will be held outdoors to allow for maximum ventilation and will be spacing our tables out, along with seating people by household/who they've been in contact with - Requesting guests to wear masks except when they're eating and drinking - Sanitizers will be provided throughout the venues and hotel. We have been assured by all vendors and venues that all staff will take proper measures as well - Requiring all guests traveling from outside of Texas to quarantine for 2 weeks before the events

Question

Anything else I should know regarding COVID 19?

Answer

If you don't feel comfortable attending the wedding or are not able to come, we will have a livestream of the NIkkah and Wedding Ceremony so you can celebrate from home. We will have a toast in your honor and would love for you to still dress up and celebrate!! (Livestream information will be added to the website when we get closer to the wedding). If you test positive from the COVID test, we will require you to stay home and attend virtually. As much as we would love to have you there, we cannot risk any contact with positive results. Please respect our wishes and stay home if you are positive, even if you do not have any symptoms. If you are experiencing ANY symptoms (such as: fever, chills, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, muscle/body/head aches, loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea) we request you to attend virtually as well. Additionally, please stay home if you think you may have been recently exposed to the virus.

Question

Can I bring a date? What about my kids?

Answer

Refer to your invitation to see how many guests are invited. If your invitation specifies that you have a date or you can bring your kids, of course! If not, we would prefer if it was just you so we can stick to celebrating with our nearest and dearest :)

Question

Are there shuttles being offered for the events? How can we get around that weekend?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided to our wedding events from the hotel that the room block is booked at. Please refer to the TRAVEL tab for more information. If you choose not to join us on the shuttle, all the venues have plenty of parking space for you to come join the festivities!

Question

Is there a discounted hotel block available?

Answer

Yes! See the TRAVEL tab for more information :)
