Question

Did you guys already get married?

Answer

We are having our religious Islamic ceremony with family and a few friends on October 1, 2022. However, our official wedding celebrations will still be on January 7, 2023.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous, some items and funds to help us begin building our lives together can be found on the 'registry' tab on this website.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have worked really hard to create an intimate celebration that includes all of our closest family members and friends so we ask that you come solo unless your invitation is addressed to your family or to you and an additional guest. We will specify all guests on your invitation. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

If your invitation specifies that your whole family is invited, then yes, you are welcome to bring your children! If your invitation does not include "family" or children, then we ask you only come with your partner/plus one and make it a date night. Please note our venues do not provide high-chairs or accommodations for small children, so if you do opt to bring your children, you may want to make arrangements. Additionally, our entire ceremony will be recorded, so if any of our little ones get fussy or need a break, we kindly ask you take them outside of the ceremony space.

Question

What time should I arrive on the Catholic Celebration of Marriage?

Answer

If attending our Catholic Celebration of Marriage, please arrive no later than 10:30am. Our venue does not allow guests to enter the ceremony space once it has started. Our wedding planning team will escort late guests to the foyer and have them wait there until the ceremony is over.

Question

What time should I arrive on the reception?

Answer

We all know there's "on time" and then there is "Pakistani time" haha! However, our events will start promptly on the time listed. We ask our friends and family to make it on time, as our venues are only booked for the hours we have noted. Our reception, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 will be filled with food, dance performances, and entertainment. To ensure you don't miss anything, please arrive no later than 5:00pm.

Question

What cuisine will be served?

Answer

Our cuisine will consist of halal classic American and southern dishes. We will have options for our vegetarian and vegan family members and friends as well!

Question
