Austin–Bergstrom International Airport or San Antonio International Airport

We suggest flying in from either Austin or San Antonio. Below are the travel times to Wimberley from each airport. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport: 1-hour drive (30 miles) San Antonio International Airport: 1.5-hour drive (55 miles) *You will need to rent a car to get to Wimberley, Texas.

Lodging in Wimberley or San Marcos

On the Visit Wimberley website, there are a multitude of quaint lodging options in Wimberley. It's a small town, so many of these hotels and cottages are within a 10 minute drive to the wedding venue. If you are unable to secure lodging in Wimberley at this point, we recommend staying in the city of San Marcos, about a 30-minute drive to the venue. We do not recommend staying in Austin the night of the wedding (Sunday, September 1st) because it is a one-hour drive from the venue. We want to make sure you're safe and have a fun time! Note: It's Labor Day weekend, so make sure to book early!
