Yes, there have. Please see the home page of this website for more details. However, the short and sweet of it is that we have cancelled our venue and are doing a small intimate ceremony in a family member's backyard. Our guest list will only include family and the bridal party. We have attempted to reach out to everyone individually, but if there are any questions please let Andrea or Brad know!
Now that our venue has changed from a museum uptown to a backyard ceremony, we suggest summer dresses or a nice blouse for women, and a pair of khakis or slack with a button-down for men. (Or vice versa if that is what makes you comfortable). Please refrain from wearing a wedding dress. :)
Charlotte weather is incredibly unpredictable! It could be hot and humid, cold and rainy, or something in between. We highly recommend checking the weather forecast before you pack your attire. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, and therefore we suggest wearing short sleeves and bringing a jacket or light sweater in case it is needed in the evening.
Please reach out to Andrea for your specific plan for your family. We want your children to be safe during this time. If you are able to attend and plan to socially distance, and if your children are over 2 and able to wear a mask, that can all be discussed and figured out ahead of time.
We kindly ask that you designate any dietary restrictions on your formal invitation. If you happen to forget, or just want to make sure we are aware - please contact the Bride or Groom and we can work with our dinner accomodations to figure out your best options!
