Guests will be responsible for their own transportation unless they are staying overnight at the Palmer House Hilton on Saturday evening. For hotel guests, a shuttle will pick up at the Monroe Street entrance at 2:00 PM and will depart for the ceremony at St. James Chapel promptly at 2:15 PM. Following the ceremony, the same shuttle will transport hotel guests back to the Palmer House at approximately 4:15 PM, prior to cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 PM.
Our wedding attire is Black Tie Preferred. We’d love for guests to dress up for the occasion. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are encouraged, though dark suits and cocktail or long dresses are absolutely welcome as well. Most importantly, we want everyone to feel festive, elegant, and comfortable celebrating with us
We have asked the team at the Palmer House Hilton to do their best to accommodate early check-in for guests on Saturday. While early check-in cannot be guaranteed, the hotel will gladly hold bags during the ceremony. Guests may then check into their rooms upon returning to the hotel before the evening festivities begin.
Ceremony: Parking is available at several nearby commercial garages surrounding Saint James Chapel and the Archbishop Quigley Center (835 N Rush St). Nearby options include Chicago Place Garage (719 N Rush St), The Chicagoan Garage (750 N Rush St), and the 900 N Michigan parking garage. There is also street parking available. We recommend allowing extra time for downtown Chicago traffic and parking prior to the ceremony. Reception: Parking for guests diving in is as follows: -$28 for self-parking at 55 E Monroe -$36 for valet at the main entrance Parking vouchers will be provided.
