We’re so excited to be hosting our wedding at the Palmer House, a place rich in Chicago history and romance. Built in the 1870s by Potter Palmer as a wedding gift for his wife, Bertha, it became legendary—and after the Great Chicago Fire, he rebuilt it even grander. Today, it stands as the nation’s longest continually operating hotel. Beyond its chandeliers, gold-leaf ceilings, and timeless elegance, the Palmer House is especially meaningful to us as it’s where Serena’s parents were married. Our reception will be in the Empire Room, once a glamorous supper club that hosted icons like Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Ella Fitzgerald. It’s a space with so much history, and we can’t wait to make a little of our own—so don’t forget your dance shoes!
