Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend?
Answer
Yes. We require all eligible guests to be fully vaccinated, as we will have immunocompromised loved ones in attendance.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Answer
At this time we will not be asking guests to wear masks, as the event will be outdoors. We will continue to pay attention to local COVID-19 case numbers, as well as the recommendations of public health officials. If changing conditions necessitate us implementing stricter COVID-19 safety protocols, we will make an announcement. Regardless of the COVID-19 situation, we invite all guests to bring masks just in case; we will also have masks available.

What accessibility considerations are there at the venue?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held in the Schumm family backyard. The yard is relatively flat; however, the lawn surface may be soft and uneven. Both the event space and restrooms are accessible without traversing hills or stairs. Please reach out to Paul, Magill, Dwight, or Connie with questions or concerns.

My invitation/save the date was just addressed to me, is my significant other invited?
Answer
Most definitely! If you have someone important in your life, they are important to us too. When it comes time to RSVP, just make sure to include their information in addition to yours.

Do I need to be scared of Theo, the Schumm family dog?
Answer
No. Although he might look scary, Theo is essentially just 80 pounds of floof and will not hurt you. He just gets excited to see people.
