Noah and I had a coworker in common. Cortney told us both that she just thought we would get along great. She showed each of us each others Facebook profiles and we agreed to trading phone numbers to chat.
Noah brought me flowers and picked me up at my new apartment in Charlottesville. To make things more awkward for meeting for the first time we meet in person, my dad answered the door. Noah did a great job meeting the parents and made a great first impression with all of us. We went to dinner at The Local then had a nice walk over to and around the Downtown Mall. Then sitting around chatting to get to know each other.
We were on a trip to Disney to look at wedding sites. We made plans to have pictures taken while we were there. When we made it to my favorite ride, The Haunted Manison, Noah got down on one knee and said, "In a hundred years, in a hundred lifetimes; I will not have deserved your love. But, if you give me this lifetime, I promise to spend the rest of it trying to earn it. Amanda Leigh Medford, will you consent to be my bride?" And of course, I answered "Yes!"
