We LOVE where we live. We moved here a year ago and want to share our cute, quaint lake town with everyone! We want to host everyone during our open house on Saturday, November 15th, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. There will be food and drinks on hand:)
Fort Worth Stockyards
Check out our "Schedule" tab for the Friday, November 14 Rodeo Night! Not only is it a place we love, but the place we got engaged! The Fort Worth Stockyards is a world-renowned place to see that offers THE authentic Texas experience. If you want to travel back to the Wild West while enjoying modern entertainment, this is the place for you. We recommend taking half a day to see the long horn cattle walk down the street (11:30am and 4pm every day on the dot), explore the beautiful boutiques, listen to fantastic live Texas country music at a variety of bars/restaurants, try a Texas-sized steak, and if you want to go all in, see the rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum. There is nothing short to do and this is our favorite place to be!
Billy Bob's Texas
Amanda's personal favorite. If you want to see the best indoor venue to ever exist, make the time to see Billy Bobs. They offer tours during the day ($3 a person) to see the rich country history. The best of the best performed on this stage and still continue to. If you want to get boot scootin', we recommend seeing the concert in town, two steppin' with your favorite partner, and enjoying an indoor rodeo arena INSIDE the concert venue. You won't regret it.
AT&T Stadium Tours
Although some guests might not necessarily, ✨love✨ the Cowboys, their stadium is quite a site. If you love anything about football, fine details, and what $1.2 billion can buy, you'll love this tour. From the massive jumbotron to the luxurious suites and behind-the-scenes access to the locker rooms, the AT&T Stadium tour offers an unforgettable experience.
Klyde Warren Park
Food trucks galore. Explore the heart of Dallas by seeing a beautiful skyline while enjoying authentic food. Can't beat this great place. Next door is the art museum and it is FREE entry.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
The iconic Dallas museum tour is fascinating as it builds a tribute to John F. Kennedy. Highly recommend taking this walking tour and learning about the events that happened in Daley Plaza.
The Dallas World Aquarium
Fun, relaxing, and entertaining Aquarium. Their flamingo exhibit is amazing!
