Absolute NO. The state of Texas requires every event that has alcohol present to hire an on-duty police officer for security. This is the law. If a minor is caught with alcohol at any point, the entire wedding will be SHUT DOWN immediately and they will receive a minor in possession charge (MIP). There will be an open bar from cocktail hour through the reception. So if you are over 21, drink up!
Our wedding is formal attire. NO jeans and NO straw hats, please. That being said, if you have an elegant hat and a very nice pair of boots, you may wear them. We are in Texas for goodness sake!
YES! There will be a shuttle that takes guests to and from SpringHill Suites and the venue. From 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, the shuttle will bring guests to the venue. From 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm, the shuttle will bring guests back to the hotel. Please feel free to utilize it.
As much as we love kiddos, we want this evening to be fun and stress free for all. We are not allowing kids.
Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation.
The ceremony starts at 2:30pm. We recommend getting there 15-30 mins early to secure a good seat.
Yes! A buffet-style dinner will be served during the reception, along with hor d'oeuvres, drinks, and dessert.
You totally can, but the outdoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour will be in a grassy area. Your heels will sink in the grass while walking to the ceremony, sitting at the ceremony, and walking to the cocktail hour.
