Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our backyard wedding will be “elegantly casual.” It will be elegant, but, in Maggie and Paul’s style, it will also be comfortable, with a large tent to provide shelter from the elements, if need be. Keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly. The average temperature should be around 70 degrees, but could fluctuate 20 degrees either side of that.

What about shoes?
Answer
As far as shoes go, please keep in mind that you will be moving around in grass. Apart from the dance floor, everything will take place on the lawn. We do not recommend high heels, but, rather, comfortable flats or sandals (all the better in which to dance!).

I noticed my children’s names were not included on the invitation. Is this an adult-only wedding?
Answer
Yes, due to the nature of the backyard/lakeside venue, so that all may be able to relax and enjoy the party to the fullest, we are having an adult-only celebration.
Question
I've heard that it's difficult to find and park at the wedding venue. What do you suggest that I do about parking?
Answer
The wedding venue is off of a little service road in Victoria. Parking is reserved for vendors, but we will provide shuttles to transport you to and from your vehicle. IMPORTANT PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFORMATION Please arrive between 3:00 and 3:45 pm at: Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, West Campus 7150 Rolling Acres Road, Victoria, MN 55386 There are two parking lots in front of the church. Park in either lot. Please make sure to park at the church and not at Mount Olivet Rolling Acres (south of the church). The wedding ceremony is not at Mount Olivet, so do not go inside the church. Catch the wedding shuttle in front of the church to the Weiss home (7400 Rolling Acres Road). The last shuttle leaves at 3:45 pm – don’t miss the 4:00 ceremony by being late! There is no parking at the house and no overnight parking at the church. The shuttle will return you to your car whenever you are ready to leave or after the sparkler send-off at 10:00 pm.

I am vegetarian / dairy free / gluten free. Will I have options for dinner?
Answer
Yes! We are serving Mediterranean grain bowls. You will be able to build your perfect meal.
