We have so many friends and family members with small children that we decided to keep our wedding and reception to just adults. If you are planning on bringing children to Colorado, we are happy to help you find and arrange for childcare at the hotel for the evening. Please reach out to us if this is needed! We hope you enjoy the break!
Chefs Andy and Dennis will be preparing dinner with produce and chickens raised from the farm. Dinner will be served buffet style. It is a dish that is easily customizable so if you have a food allergy or preference, please reach out to us and let us know when you RSVP.
There is a large parking lot across the street from the farm at the Boulder County Open Space and Transportation Complex building. We still encourage you to carpool, Lyft or Uber or take the hotel shuttle so you have a safe ride home!
There will be a shuttle from the SpringHill Suites to and from the farm. There are plenty of hotels in the area so if you choose to not stay at that hotel, you can still take the shuttle. Please let us know when you RSVP if you will be taking the shuttle.
See the Events page. We will have Welcome Drinks on Friday night and will most likely head to a bar near the hotels in town with those who care to after the reception.
Since this is an event hosted by our dear friends Andy, Lisa and Dennis, we have many projects that need to get done before our big day. We know many of you are traveling far which can add up so if you would rather donate your time than buy us a gift, we would love that! If you are excited about arranging flowers, setting up, organizing etc. or if you have another idea in mind, please reach out to us! You can look on our SoKind Registry (coming soon!) or reach out to us if you have ideas.
We kindly ask that you let us know if you can come or not as soon as you can.
Our wedding will be generously hosted by our friends Andy and Lisa Nowak at their farm in Longmont, Colorado. Chefs Andy and Dennis will be preparing a farm to table meal for our guests to enjoy. The mission of Community Table Farm is to inspire and empower our community to gather around local, healthy food through experiences in growing, preparing and enjoying farm fresh meals on an actual working farm. The farm offers Farm Experiences, providing fresh produce and eggs from the farm as well as a wide selection of fruits, vegetables and sustainably raised meats from other Colorado farms and ranches. Visitors can harvest directly from the farm and learn about healthy recipes from chefs for simple home meals. Throughout the year, there will be farm cooking classes showing all the steps from seed to table for the freshest and healthiest meals available. Then on the weekends, the farm displays everything Colorado has to offer through authentic farm dinners.
