FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and reception indoors. February tends to be chilly, with temperatures expected in the low 50s and high 40s, we recommend bringing a warm coat or jacket to ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout the celebration.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is public parking available near the venue, but there will be no valet service provided. Guests are responsible for their own parking fees. Please refer to the Parking + Hotels page for more information. Please arrive early to allow ample time for parking and making your way to the venue. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:15pm.

Question

What time should I arrive? When does reception dinner start?

Answer

Arrival: Doors open at 3:00 pm Ceremony: Begins at 3:15 pm Cocktail Hour: Starts at 4:00 pm Reception Dinner: Commences at 5:00 pm Note: Dinner is buffet style

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. For our gentlemen guests, this typically means wearing a suit or dress slacks, a dress shirt, and a tie or bowtie. Ladies, we recommend cocktail dresses, elegant separates, or a stylish jumpsuit. In order not to clash with the wedding party, please avoid the colors white/ivory or blush pink.

Question

Can I bring a date (plus one) to your wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate any additional plus ones unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Is there a rain plan for outdoor weddings?

Answer

In case of inclement weather, we have a rain plan in place to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for our guests. Our backup plan involves moving the ceremony/reception to an indoor location. Rest assured that we'll make every effort to ensure your comfort, rain or shine. Any updates or changes to the plan will be communicated via this website.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

In order to align with our Chinese heritage, we will be upholding the tradition of monetary gifts in lieu of a traditional boxed gift registry. In many Asian cultures this signifies wishing the newlywed couple happiness, prosperity, and good fortune. If you wish to give a monetary gift, you will be able to give your gift to us directly or put it in our card box. For our more tech savvy guests, you may gift us through Venmo using the QR codes on the registry page or Zelle using the phone numbers 213-210-4109 (Maggie) or 909-851-0877 (Jonathan).
