Best Man
Johnathan's long-time coach and friend. This role was literally made for Mark. They met as Mark coached the Single A AllStars intramural basketball team to not one, but two, back-to-back national championships. He is a trusted and honest friend and voice of reason in our lives.
Maid of Honor
Maggie's go-to in times of celebration and crisis. Celebrations likely to include good music and plenty of cheese. Crises have been known include the lack of cheese. Kim and Maggie were fast friends in Maggie's early days at Georgia Tech and have only gotten closer over the years. Maggie couldn't imagine this day without Kim by her side.
Groomsman
DJ and Johnathan have the longest friendship of the groomsmen. They have gone from county rivals in high school on the basketball court to close friends who share the common bond of home improvement projects and the outdoors.
Bridesmaid
Best friend. Roommate. First person who ever made Maggie get up at 5am to go workout (this influence stuck!) Has the best playlists of any person alive (don't challenge this, it is true!)
Groomsman
George also (you guess it) played basketball with Johnathan. Easily receiving "best dressed" in any room he walks into, George is the friend who will get you to go out and be the most social version of yourself.
Bridesmaid
If you need someone to tell you something straight - Taylor is your woman. Taylor and Maggie became instant friends in their first week of Georgia Tech. Spontaneous adventures and deep, meaningful conversations are Taylor's speciality. If you get Maggie and Taylor together, don't plan on doing anything else that day.
Groomsman
Johnathan met "God's Gift" on a basketball court at Georgia Tech. He's a nightmare for defenses in pick-up basketball and one of the smartest and most innovate men we know. Most likely to sneak in a basketball to the reception.
Bridesmaid
All of Maggie's friends are smart - but Ashley may be the most brilliant. She won Maggie over to be her friend in less than 15 minutes of conversation over fries and an Oreo McFlurry. Ashley is always up for an adventure, extremely driven, and most likely to get her hair stuck in something while getting ready for the big day.
Groomsman
Myron and Johnathan met in their Georgia Tech days (on the basketball court - anyone else sensing a trend?). Myron has a very sharp sense of humor, is the group's travel expert, and is most likely to bring the hoop.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Maggie became fast friends at the start of Georgia Tech and have leaned on each other ever since. Maggie credits Morgan for helping her fall in love & embrace her curly head of hair! She is most likely to have to redo her make-up several times due to tears of joy on the wedding day.
Groomsman
Yet another on the court bromance. Johnathan and Justin met in their early days at Georgia Tech. He was one of the first team members that Johnathan had a hand in recruiting for the team, so naturally he was recruited to be a part of this big day. He's smooth on the court, so watch out on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Rachel were paired together while leading orientation at Georgia Tech and spent the summer of 2017 telling bad jokes to the siblings of new-GT students & getting beat in bowling by 7 year olds. Maggie is constantly amazed by her ability to make people laugh and be a brave voice of reason. Rachel is also well known to have pictures of cute babies on her phone.
Groomsman
Johnathan's right hand man since the summer before officially starting Georgia Tech. These two worked together (and with Maggie) and Gerald may or may not have done some serious encouraging for this relationship!
Bridesmaid
Friends since the internet really became a thing and have been inseparable ever since. These two are made for each other, especially because when together, they may be too strange for anyone else. Dance moves, 2000s scene music, and deep discussions on anti-racism included.
Groomsman
Johnathan and Akhil met at Georgia Tech and grew closer after college in adult league (you guessed it!) basketball. The duo worked together off the court too, as Akhil was Johnathan's "boss" for two years in corporate banking. Akhil loves his New York sports teams (and we still love him anyways!)
Bridesmaid
Maggie's built-in, lifetime best friend (aka her only female cousin!). Madison and Maggie are the liberal package deal of the family. Family trips would have never been the same without this duo.
