While a little out of the way, this is where we got engaged and it's our favorite spot to spend a sunny day! Countless memories have been made here for both of us. There is a paid parking lot on the north end of the beach or street parking all around.
Take the Ferry to Peaks a little earlier in the day and enjoy what the island has to offer! Jones is just steps from the ferry landing and is an excellent place for lunch and/or a scenic drink.
We love eating at Flatbread Pizza, and it is conveniently located right next to the ferry terminal!
Another great option for Lunch on the island if you come on an earlier ferry! Just across the street from the Inn.

One of our favorite breweries in the area with great food and even better beer! Plenty of parking is available at their Thompson's Point location and is right next to the Maine Children's Museum as well!
This is a beautiful spot that looks out on Casco Bay! There are food trucks here and the most photographed lighthouse (Portland Head Light) in New England is also located here as well! Be on the lookout for the James Jordan (Jared's Grandfather) memorial bench as well!

A great donut shop on Commercial street serving Maine Potato Donuts. One is plenty, but they do sell out in the summertime.
