The easiest way to get to Peaks Island is to ride The Casco Bay Ferry! It departs for the island every hour and you'll be able to take any returning ferry throughout the evening. Tickets are easily bought in person for $14 each and are good for any time of the day. Please plan to be there at least 30 minutes before the ferry departs to ensure you have a ticket and are in line as it is first-come, first serve! We recommend Ubering / getting a ride to the terminal because parking can be very expensive in a garage and street parking is very hard to find in downtown Portland. While you can pay to take your vehicle across with you, there is no reserved parking at the Inn or nearby, so this is not recommended! If you miss the ferry in either direction or just want to ride in style, there are multiple water taxi companies in the area that can take you to the island directly. We recommend Foggs, but their pricing varies depending on demand and timing. From the ferry landing, the Inn is just a short walk up the hill and is the first building on the right at the intersection!

The dress code is coastal formal. Gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket and tie.
While there are very few accommodations on Peaks Island, there is no shortage of hotels in downtown Portland that are easy walking distance to the Ferry Terminal. We do not have an official room block, but might recommend The Hilton Garden Inn, the Hampton Inn, The Canopy Hotel, The Holiday Inn By the Bay, The Portland Regency or The Press Hotel. There are also loads of Airbnbs and other rental options on the mainland, and some available on Peaks Island if booked early enough!
You'll be able to walk down from the Inn and board the Ferry back to Portland! The Ferry leaves the island at 8:45, 9:45 and 10:50. We'll be sure to let folks know about when they might want to depart for each, but you should plan to depart on the 9:45p ferry if staying for the whole reception.
For some of our local / PYC guests, why not enjoy a Saturday cruise beforehand! Though we don't have any set docking agreements on the island, there are a few options and the Peaks Island Marina is just down the street from the Inn. Just be mindful of your attire!
Call Foggs Water Taxi immediately at 207-415-8493. The next ferry will not land until 4:30 and you will miss the ceremony.
