Jameson Tanner Clayton

Groom

What I love about Maggie is how she is my best friend. Looks and intelligence are great bonuses and features but all relationships are greater if you can also be their best friend as well as their spouse. My favorite memory with her is our road trip up to Ohio. Ever since I went on multi-hour long bus rides to band competitions and away games, I have grown to enjoy long car rides and being able to do the longest car ride I have ever done in my life with the one I love made it that much more special. Not only that but also being able to see more of her childhood was a wonderful experience.” I love you!

Maggie Rose Baechle

Bride

Hi all! I am the bride to be! My favorite memory of my soon to be husband? In all honesty, it's difficult to pick just one. We made so many together in our five years, each with their own impact. However if I was REQUIRED to pick one, it would be watching him during our annual Steeplechase event. Getting to see him light up while we were all chatting and spending time together. Watching a new side of him and getting to witness him morphing into my side of the family seamlessly. He fits into my crazy life as that weird puzzle piece with the funky edges. He completes me and we get to grow together. All of my memories of Jameson are precious to me and I love every part of him. Getting to say "I do" for forever is one of the best memories I can't wait to make. I love you 3,000 Jameson <3.

Terry Long

Mother of the Groom

Mother of Jameson Tanner Clayton. A hard working and dedicated mother. She provided her children with every opportunity they desired, be it music, athletics, educational, or entertainment related. She supported Jameson's desire for music as a hobby and helped him continue his band life from 5th grade until his senior year of college. She attended as many games as possible, cheered from the sidelines and supported his every performance. She was there from the first concert to the last march across the Georgia Southern University Paulson Stadium for College Senior Night.

Rachel Baechle

Mother of the Bride

Maggie is intelligent, hard working, dedicated and incredibly loyal. She was always prepared with her first aid kit, always wanting to take care of others. She is consistently willing to learn/help in any way she can. If there wasn’t an opportunity for something, she would create it, from the knitting club in High School to leading MFGE Projects. Jameson is a kind, supportive and intelligent young man. My first meeting with him was during Maggie’s graduation party in 2016. He introduced himself as Jameson and how he knew Maggie (introductions from Mrs. Chatham). Another great moment was his first experience at our annual steeplechase event. He jumped right in to help with all the festivities and with such enthusiasm, it warmed my heart. It is an event we all look forward to every year.

Randy Clayton

Father of the Groom

Jameson Tanner & Maggie Rose God blesses us with your union and joining our family as one. Life experiences bring us to this special time and reminiscing of our personal upbringings and favorite memories. I look forward to learning of you and your special family. “Tanner” has special origins in his dad. I was born and raised in Indiana. God always has His hand on me to direct my path; moved to attend West Georgia College, Political Science and graduate degree from Columbus State University. I retired from State of Georgia in 2015 and serve now in Department of Homeland Security. Tanner is born into a blended family of six siblings. Favorite memories are all the times I had with Tanner in his sports and travels. Tanner makes me proud; “Dad, thank you for being here for me on the sideline.”

Kevin Baechle

Father of the Bride

The day she was born, me when I get home yelling "daddy's home" while giving me a huge hug, spending the days at Best Buy playing display video games, building the lodge/hunting. Spending her mornings picking berries, not eating any to share with the family, hanging at the cattle auction house, our spring break motorcycle trip, her caring/giving heart, or just how she makes me feel when she says "hi daddy" and "yep".  No, I don't have a single "best memory" of life with my "Best Buddy" I have them all. Love you with all my heart Mag. My favorite memories with JT are the Eagle Creek and board game nights when I would get to visit them and his uncanny ability to always win when we played "Settlers of Catan". But my favorite memory will be when he officially becomes part of the family.

Joshua Chatham

Best Man

I'm a computer scientist by trade, adventurer by hobby. If I'm not at a computer, I'm likely in a cave, hiking, or on a rock wall somewhere. I have considered J.T. to be my best friend since 4th grade. I have many fond memories with him, and I think two describe our friendship best. First is our love for video games. I remember one morning my dad was waking up to go to work and found us still playing Halo from the night before. Second is on a cruise, one of the many "family" trips we went on together when we relaxed with a cigar on the deck looking at the starts and talking about our lives. I care a lot about J.T. so it made me very happy to see he found someone like Maggie. My fondest memory of the two of them is sitting out in a hot tub with them and my wife talking about our futures.

Cassandra Pelton

Maid of Honor

My name is Cassy. I’m Maggie’s MoH. I met Maggie when we worked together as students at the SSEC on Georgia Southern’s campus. I have many fond memories of our time working together, but my favorites are the ones outside those walls. My favorite memory of the bride would have to be a house party we went to together while we were both still in college. Long story short, we both got VERY sick because of that party. Even with her being as sick as she was, she took care of me the whole night. It’s my favorite memory because it proves how loving & caring she is towards others, even at the detriment of herself. My favorite memory of JT also occurred at the same party. He didn't kill me even though I assisted in the both of us being so sick. That goes to show how forgiving of a person he is!

Landen Clayton

Groomsman

I'm Tanner's second youngest brother. I am a freshman at UGA studying math and business. My favorite memory with Tanner is playing rummikub at the cabin with him. (I'm the one on the left!)

KaCie Baechle

Bridesmaid

KaCie Baechle, sister to the bride Favorite memory of the couple: the first Steeplechase where Jameson kept moving the glasses because he forgot the sun was moving and he started talking about how people kept moving them. The look on his face was priceless and after that he was always in charge of helping set up the decorations for the events.

West Clayton

Groomsman

I'm Tanner's youngest brother. I am 16 and currently attending Whitewater High School, just like all of my older siblings. My favorite memories with Tanner were when the three of us younger brothers would play "Halo" together on the Xbox. (Even though I would get mad at them for being better and me and killing me, which was the whole goal of the game).

Alison Chatham

Bridesmaid

There's nothing more that I love than exploring the great outdoors! I'm always outside hiking, backpacking, caving, biking, anything outdoors with my favorite person (my husband) & fellow friend adventurers. One thing that will have me 'sticking out' at the wedding is my belly... I am currently pregnant with our first child! One of my favorite Maggie memories is actually my wedding night! That girl can *get down* on the dancefloor! I had a ton of fun dancing all night with her, she danced so hard that she ended up with the most swollen feet I have ever seen! As for my favorite memory with JT & Maggie, I would definitely have to say where we all sat in a hot tub under the stars & talking about EVERYTHING. You can always be open & honest with them, I feel like I can tell them anything.

Chance Crow

Groomsman

I met the happy couple through a mutual friend in college. My favorite times with them were our late nights playing D&D and hanging out at their apartment each week.

Ashley Postle

Bridesmaid

My name is Ashley Postle, and I am the bridesmaid from up North! I met Maggie when we were both freshmen together at Licking Valley High School. We became fast friends, midnight writing partners, and inseparable troublemakers. While the number of times that we have seen each other over the years has been few, every time she comes home it is like we were never apart! I was so glad to have her by my side during my wedding and I can't wait to be a part of hers!

Jessica Dube

Bridesmaid

My name is Jessica Dube. I lived with Jameson for three years during college, and that's how Maggie and I met. At one point we were all training our cats to walk on harnesses, so my favorite memory has to be taking them for walks on Georgia Southern's campus. People would stop and stare and ask how we managed it, and it was always so fun to introduce people to our pets!

Brandon Chatham

Officiant

The one making it all happen (half of the reason anyway!). A loving and supportive father, enjoyer of fine beverages and humor. Husband to Christine Chatham Father of Josh Chatham

Christine Chatham

The Instigator

I am Christine Chatham. My son, Joshua Chatham has been best friends with JT since elementary school. We just considered JT as "our other son". He was the fourth child we always wanted, and he balanced out our family perfectly. Family vacations weren't complete unless he was there. I will always love him with all my heart. I met Maggie in high school. She was this "tough girl" who constantly talked about the military, but was also president of the knitting club. She loves to talk; and even though the students I work with are deaf, she didn't let that stop her from communicating. She will always be near and dear to my heart. When I realized what college she was attending, I slipped her JT's number. I assured her that he was a stellar human being. THE REST IS HISTORY.
