6.5 mile bike ride (or drive) from the hotel along the river. There is an ice cream shop and little restaurant that sells good fish tacos. They often have live music and there are some good walking trails. FUN FACT: the bride, her aunt Julie, and cousin Dan almost got arrested here once.
This is iconic walking bridge in Minneapolis is only a few blocks from the hotel and takes you over the Mississippi river. Don't forget to look back and see the skyline view. This is a part of the bride and groom's favorite running routes.
The Mall of America is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the United States, spanning 5.6 million square feet. It has more than 520 stores, 60 restaurants, and indoor attractions like Nickelodeon Universe® and the SEA LIFE® Aquarium. You can either uber or take the light rail - it is about 20 mins away - close to the airport. The bride and groom actually go here frequently because it is the one mall that has every store.
