FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 15th, 2019. If you need more time, just let us know!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive between 5 and 5:30. If you are taking the shuttle, it may need two trips, so please try to be ready by 4:15. We will have refreshments for those arriving early.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes -- Our entire registry can be found on our wedding website through Zola.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone feeling fabulous and comfortable. It is a dressy affair, so if getting all glamorous is your thing, bring it on. Or, if you like the idea of a comfy pantsuit/loathe the idea of a suit, just come in what makes you most comfortable. We expect most people to be dressed in cocktail attire. Our venue might require shirts and shoes at least. We are just grateful to have everyone's presence for the day, no matter what you're dressed in.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received an invite addressed just to you but you want to bring a date, include their name in your response card and let us know. We will do our best to accommodate any special friends of our friends.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The party will be mostly adults. If you have kids and would like to bring them or are in need of child care, talk to us. We will try to figure it out.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yep! We have hotel room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn and Ravel Hotel, both within walking distance of each other in Long Island City, right across the river from Manhattan. We will have a shuttle to and from the venue and the Hilton. If you want to stay in a different part of town and need recommendations, just reach out and we will let you know some good spots to stay!

Question

I have a dietary restriction or food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, absolutely. One reason we chose this venue is because you will have a choice of appetizers and entrees that night, which can be vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or full of meat and potatoes if that's your thing. Additionally, the venue has said they can make additional accommodations and accept any special dietary restrictions not already mentioned. You simply need to let Antun's know that night. If you want to be extra safe, you can also let us know beforehand and we will be sure you are fully fed and stuffed by the end of the night. Entree choices include Braised beef short ribs, Chicken Forestiere, California Glazed Salmon, Angel Eggplant (vegetarian), and Vegetable Ravioli (vegan). Pastas can also be made gluten free and there will also be stations and passed appetizers during the cocktail hour designed to accommodate a variety of dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, paleo etc)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. We will also provide a shuttle to and from the Hilton Garden Inn.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will provide a complimentary party bus to and from the venue and hotel. It will be able to make continuous round trips throughout the night to accommodate both early birds and night owls.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting Welcome Drinks in the presidential suite of the Hilton Garden Inn Friday night for out of town guests, as well as brunch Monday morning for out of town guests.

For all the days along the way
