Amazing breakfast spot with excellent waffles and a good atmosphere. Brix recommends the Better Day waffle. It can get a little busy, but it is worth the wait!

Experience the place where Maggie and Brix had their first date. We recommend the hot chocolate!

A historic deli with a wide range of sandwiches. Maggie's dad used to come here in college and we still try to visit when we are in town!

Akron Zoo
Cute? Look no further than the Akron Zoo. It will get you nose-to-nose with more than 1000 animals from around the world. Totally walkable with general admission being under $10.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park
One of Ohio's hidden treasures. There are several hiking trails and walking paths fit for all levels of enjoyment. Our favorite trails include: Ledges Trail (Familiar? We took our engagement photos here!), Buttermilk falls, Kendall Lake Loop Trail, and the Brandywine Gorge Trail.
Highland Square
Fun little strip with some small shops, restaurants, and a movie theatre. Our personal recommendations: Wally Waffle for some crazy waffles, Mr. Zub's for some off the wall, movie-themed sandwiches, and the record store for some shopping.
