It was the start of Fall semester. Brix went to Nervous Dog to hang out with friends and saw a palm reader for two bucks. The palm reader got to work: "your aura is green" she states (I had a green shirt on), "you'll meet someone in the middle of October" she presses on (I'm in college I meet people every day), "you want to travel" she says again (who doesn't?). Fast forward a few months later (the middle of October) and its initiation for Alpha Phi Omega - the service fraternity Brix was in. Maggie is in the lineup of new pledges and Brix can't help but wonder who that beautiful person is. Both shy individuals, it took the two until the end of the semester and start of winter break to confess feelings. A kiss goodbye and Maggie was on a plane to Thailand and Brix to Florida. This had no impact on the blossoming relationship. Eventually January 19th rolled around and the two reunited. They have been inseparable since. Three days after our wedding date it will be nine years of having known each other. We are so excited!
